About Becca:
Becca Colwell is a contemporary artist based in Baltimore, Maryland, specializing in watercolor, gouache, and ink works that celebrate the quiet beauty of the natural world. With a B.F.A. in Illustration and a minor in Fashion from the Savannah College of Art and Design along with formative study abroad experiences in Lacoste, France—Becca brings a refined sense of composition and storytelling to each piece.

Her work blends botanical precision with lyrical abstraction, often featuring florals, birds, pollinators, and coastal landscapes rendered in soft layers and evocative palettes. Through delicate mark-making and atmospheric washes, she captures ephemeral moments—petals mid-fall, wings in motion, the hush of seasonal transitions.

Becca’s paintings are known for their emotional resonance and poetic titles, inviting viewers into a meditative space where nature and memory intertwine. Her collections, including Ephemeral Wilds, have been exhibited and sold online, with each piece accompanied by thoughtful descriptions that deepen the viewer’s connection to the work.

Whether crafting a field of coneflowers or a layered coastal horizon, Becca Colwell’s art is an invitation to pause, reflect, and find wonder in the overlooked.
